Revenue Cycle Services

Every step of the revenue cycle from intake to authorizations, the provision of care, data collection and medical records impacts cash collections as greatly as an agency’s billing and collections department. BlackTree enables organizations to capitalize on an agency-wide approach to the revenue cycle that will maximize collections through a wide array of revenue cycle management services including: revenue cycle assessments, process redesign, interim management and staffing, training, and accounts receivable services. Commit to an effective revenue cycle by partnering with BlackTree.

We had the opportunity to work closely with BlackTree as they have conducted an assessment of our back office functions and processes. The engagement included the placement of a consultant into our staffing model to implement the recommended changes. This model of engagement has been extremely successful and resulted in providing us with a baseline for performance and standardizing processes moving forward."

Billing and Systems Training

Remaining current with all of the intricacies and changes related to billing regulations and requirements can be a daunting task for billers who must focus on performing their daily responsibilities. BlackTree Healthcare Consulting offers numerous training options to help maximize your billing and collections efforts including: billing regulatory requirements, Medicare FISS training, insurance follow-up techniques, billing systems, and total receivables management. We tailor our training solution to your specific needs. Whether you need new staff training, advanced training or training for a new system or product line, BlackTree can assist your organization.

BlackTree strongly believes that education must be hands-on and that it must be reinforced after initial training. Therefore, as part of your training regimen, we will work with your staff on specific claims or systems issues that they are experiencing. Recognizing that there is a limit to what employees can digest in a short period of time, we recommend that when feasible, training should be spread out over multiple sessions. Additionally, to reinforce the education, all of our training includes a bank of hours for post education follow-up. This hands-on, reinforced approach provides far better results than traditional education sessions.
