Outsourcing Services

Outsourcing with BlackTree means partnering with an industry leader that specializes in back-office support to allow your agency to focus on the core aspects of your business. Our expert biller and collectors, OASIS and documentation review nurses, and authorization/insurance verification specialists focus on capturing every dollar to which your agency in entitled.  Spend more time focusing on your patients while our experienced BlackTree team helps you improve episodic reimbursement levels and reduce write-off levels.

BlackTree has been a tremendous resource for our agency beginning with their coding and OASIS reviews.  These reviews have allowed us to more accurately code our assessments and lock our OASIS in a more timely manner.  This decreased our days to RAP which has significantly increased our cash flow.  Due to our positive experience with BlackTree’s coding work, we also engaged BlackTree to provide outsourced billing and collections services.  They have been able to identify and correct process and system setup issues within our billing software to allow for clean initial claim submission while also collecting older receivables with these issues.  Overall BlackTree has been an ideal partner for our agency and we could not be more pleased with the services they have provided.

When serving as your Insurance Authorization team, BlackTree is responsible for ensuring that your agency has the appropriate insurance pre-certifications, pre-authorizations, insurance notifications, and treatment requests prior to the services being rendered. Outsourcing with BlackTree makes us accountable for verifying that the pre-certification/pre-authorization matches the services that were actually performed, or shows that management approval was present for services performed without this authorization. Additionally, BlackTree will serve as the primary liaison for the ancillary departments, referring providers’ offices, insurance carriers, and patient inquiries regarding authorizations.
